Do Beliefs, Thoughts and Intentions Affect the Physical World?

Energy

Thought is energy, to create it (energy), just use your imagination.  ≈Albert Einstein≈

Quantum theory is the theoretical basis of modern physics that explains the nature and behaviour of matter and energy on the atomic and subatomic level. Noetic Science is under the umbrella of Quantum physics and refers to the power of human thoughts as vibrations of energy that can influence an outcome…either positive or negative. It is the theory that beliefs, thoughts and intentions affect the physical world.

Nobel Prize winning physicists have proven beyond doubt that the physical world is one large sea of energy that flashes into and out of being in milliseconds…over and over again. Nothing is solid. This is the world of Quantum Physics. Scientists have proven that thoughts are what put together and hold together this ever-changing energy field into the ‘objects’ that we see. Our thoughts are linked to this invisible energy and they determine what the energy forms. Thoughts literally shift the universe on a particle-by-particle basis to create physical life. Everything in the physical world started as an idea, an idea that grew as it was shared and expressed, until it grew enough into a physical object through a number of steps. We literally become what we think about most. Life becomes what is thought about, imagined and believed in most.

Cosmic consciousness is the idea that the universe exists as an interconnected network of consciousness, with each conscious being linked to every other…often referred to as collective consciousness. The ancient yogis knew the secret of cosmic consciousness. These seers developed the capacity to utilize their third eye (Ajna chakra) through disciplined practice of meditation. In Yogic philosophy, the third eye is generally associated with visions, clairvoyance, precognition, and out-of-body experiences. Often we perceive these occurrences as miracles.

Miracles are not considered phenomena for the Yogi. According to The Divine Life Society Yoga Ashram (founded by Swami Sivananda Saraswati in 1936, at Rishikesh, India), they are natural and almost inevitable in the plane of consciousness in which the yogi lives. Therefore, he is not even aware of his own psychic and spiritual powers, any more than we feel that being able to walk, talk or see is a wonderful power. Ancient yogic lore examines special abilities, called siddhis, which are attained through the disciplined practice of meditation and concentrated yogic practices. From a modern perspective, tales about siddhis are usually dismissed as superstitious nonsense. Numerous stories of amazing faith and devotion pour forth from all parts of the world, testifying to the unique, hidden spiritual spark of self realised yogic masters. Mainstream science has marginalized or ignored such abilities.

At least 40 top scientists in academic centres of research around the world have demonstrated that an information transfer constantly carries on between living things, and that thought forms are simply another aspect of transmitted energy. The undergoing research in noetic science explains the relationship between matter and human consciousness. Most of the research on this subject is based on experiential relationships between humans and the universe.

Through the 1990′s, Dr. Masaru Emoto performed a series of experiments observing the physical effect of negative and positive words, prayers, music and environment on the crystalline structure of water. Emoto hired photographers to take pictures of water after being exposed to the different variables and subsequently frozen so that they would form crystalline structures. The results were nothing short of remarkable. Below are pictures of water crystals. One was given love and the other, anger. The results are shown below.

The following statement by Lynne McTaggart, author of the book, The Intention Experiment validates research results directly relating to Quantum science. She states that, “In a sizeable body of research exploring the nature of consciousness, carried on for more than 30 years in prestigious scientific institutions around the world — Princeton and Stanford Universities, the Universities of Arizona and California, and, in Europe, the Universities of Freiberg and Edinburgh –thoughts directed at targets in the laboratory have been shown capable of altering machines, cells and even complex organisms like human beings. This mind-over-matter power even seems to traverse time and space.

These studies go well beyond spoonbending tricks. This central idea, that consciousness affects matter, lies at the very heart of an irreconcilable difference between the worldview offered by classical physics – the science of the big, visible world – and that of quantum physics – the science of the world’s most diminutive components. These discoveries offer convincing evidence that all matter in the universe exists in a web of connection and constant influence, which often overrides many of the laws of the universe that we used to believe held ultimate sovereignty”.

Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.  ≈Albert Einstein≈
